Hi there, I’m so delighted to be able to join you at your event.

Get me going on the power of the Internet to connect, encourage and mobilize communities and it’s hard for me to stop.

Ask me why I think mothers are super heroes, world changers and experts on being able to laugh at themselves and you’d better be willing to sit through several cups of coffee. Or tea in my case.

I believe we are called to change the world. And sometimes that change happens at 2am with sick kids on the tile floor of a small bathroom. I don’t think you need to change zip codes to change lives. You simply have to be willing to share your story.

I love to share mine where it intersects with encouraging young mothers and mobilizing communities. If that’s your interest then I might be your girl.

Go ahead, and shoot me an email with your speaking event to thegypsymama1(at)gmail(dot)com.

Jumping Tandem, The Retreat
April 19-21,2013
Lincoln, NE

You may have been pursuing the same dream for as long as you can remember, or maybe you’ve just latched on to the dream of your life. Your dream may seem to have a mind of its own, or it might seem to be so big you can’t get your mind around it.

We believe those amazing dreams that won’t let go, get dropped in our hearts from God. Spend a weekend with a group of writers, bloggers, artists, entrepreneurs, and other fabulous people who have an amazing dream. Check out your dream from every angle. Turn it upside down and inside out. Get comfortable with it. Maybe even speak it out loud for the very first time. And find out what it takes to make your dream come true.

I’ll be sharing about the worldwide meetup of (in)courage readers called (in) real life that I helped lead in April 2012. It connected close to 2,000 women from 24 countries over two days through a simulcast and a day of real life meetups. The videos had over 30,000 views and the #inRL hashtag had 5 million impressions on Twitter. It’s the biggest God-sized dream I’ve ever followed and made me alternately want to rejoice and throw up on a daily basis.

Raising Generations Today
March 21-22, 2014
Corning, NY

Raising Generations Today is a brand new conference designed to equip and inspire moms to reach the hearts of their children for the glory of God. Through providing valuable resources, inspirational speakers, practical teaching materials, and the connection of moms in every season of parenting, Raising Generations Today will offer hope to women so that they may embrace and thrive in their roles as moms. I’m so looking forward being there to encourage fellow moms, because sometimes that’s the best thing we can do for our kids – encourage their moms.
