UPDATE:
Um, so you guys funded this in like four hours flat! That’s crazy amazing. I’m going to leave it open today if you still want to give. There are several Christmas parties happening and all funds will go to support them. And I don’t want folks to feel left out that it funded so fast. Related: You’re awesome at this Secret Santa thing!!
On December 21st I’ll be in South Africa.
At the Romotsi “Good News Club” celebrating Christmas with 120 orphans and vulnerable children.
You’re invited to join us!
We’re bringing a meal, a drink, and a lucky packet (sort of a party favor bag) for each child.
But we’d love to bring a gift for everyone too. This is where you come in.
Want to play secret Santa in South Africa?
Because for only $1,000 we can buy gifts for each and every child.
Easy peasy.
They’re not expecting them.
It will be a surprise.
Who doesn’t love surprises?
We get to *be* the gift, one gift at a time.
And then when you’re doing your Christmas shopping you can know a little boy or girl in South Africa will be opening a present because of you too! #ChristmasForAfrica
Donate the cost of a Dora doll, a coloring book, or a soccer ball or ten, won’t you?
And then, invite your friends —

Or share below on Facebook – it’s a virtual Christmas party – everyone invited! (If you missed out on #LaundryForAfrica now’s your chance to join the fun!)
And if you’re coming to the South African meetup Friday night – it’s not to late to still sign up here – then you could join us on Saturday for this Christmas party for kids in Hammanskraal!
Can’t wait to deliver your presents and share the story with you all!

I didn’t even read the whole thing, I just saw it was a chance to give. I missed out the last time — happy to be a part of it this time! And I shared it, hopefully it will inspire some others to do the same too! Here’s hoping you meet the goal in less than 24 hours again! :)
You’re the best!! Thank you thank you!
No, you’re the best! Thank you for giving me the opportunity. You’re welcome.
What a wonderdul opportunity! Will you be sharing pictures and such? I’m giving in honor of my 2 year old and 4 year old, and I would love to be able to show them the joy of giving these gifts.
Yes ma’am!!! Absolutely. Will be blogging about the trip and sharing photos from South Africa! and THANK YOU.
