Love this. The things we learn from kids. And the things we kid-less people learn from mothers. Small things are what we need to focus on sometimes- and the good ones, not the not-so-good. Great picture and reminder, thanks!
What they focus on fascinates me. Half the time Micah was actually trying to eat those tulips. Smelling them just wasn’t getting close enough. Oh to want to consume with the love of kids!
If flowers were a love language – tulips would speak to me! They were in my wedding bouquet as well. Love them – with or without the cute sniffing kids
When my husband and I lived in WA we would go visit the tulip fields each spring. It was so awe-inspiring to see a rainbow laid out on the ground in front of us. What a great picture and reminder. :)
Thank you for your encouragement, Lisa-Jo.
Matt had a great time seeing you all and reconnecting a bit. Over the years the spills have become a normal part of life. (:
Enjoy your spring!
There’s nothing quite like catching up with old friends who knew you “back when…” If you guys are ever all in the area it would be great to get our kids together and see what kind of havoc they could communally wreak!
Seriously, beautiful. Words and picture. I am so in the weeds…I need to plant some flowers!
Great picture and note to self… I need to take more time to smell the flowers!

I needed this reminder today.
Such pretty tulips and a great reminder. I really need to take this to heart. Thank you!
My heart is smiling.
I know exactly what you mean! I think one of those tulips winked at me!
What a great reminder.
Tulips are my favorite flower! Especially to have around the house, they are so cheery. :) This is a darling picture. :)

I am several shades of jealous right now…
Aaaaamen!
A-to the-MEN!
Heh! Funny girl.
Beautiful photo and reminder!
Thank you! Next time I should totally post the picture of the purrrty dandelions too ;)
Great reminder. I am steadily working to re-create my wedding bouquet in our flower gardens :)
great picture!
(my note to self along those lines is “enjoy the beauty of the dandelions'”
– find the beauty in the ‘weeds’- as ‘weed’ is only an opinion label anyway)
Indeed. Because in the opinion of my 4 year old, dandelions are much more fun than flowers!
Thank you for your encouragement, Lisa-Jo.
