On friends…

A friend loves at all times. Period.
You two have me taught me that. Taught me what safe feels like and how encouragement fills a heart with enough helium to float up the rest of that mountain. I could laugh until 4am with you and still feel like I was squinting at the wonder of that beach sun – so warm, so full, so heard. Toes in the sand and stories shared until we are sisters. Three different motherlands but a single Father God – daughters and children of the King.
I will wade in the shallows and still walk into the deep water with you both when need be.
We sink into the sofa and whisper those loud dreams. Together.
I am your friend.

What a beautiful post and picture! I was blessed to meet Ann in person a little over a year ago. We’ve known each other through our blogs for almost 7 years. She came to my area and we met for dinner and what a precious time I will always hold in my heart. She is a dear “real” dear. I am lovingly jealous of your time together! :)
