Today (Monday) is a public holiday. Tomorrow is the inauguration, so DC basically has Tuesday off as well. What a great long weekend it has been so far! Pete had to teach today, but the boys and I had a very busy day!
We washed dishes (and in the process, the kitchen chairs and floor too)
We experimented with hot water and cold water and tasted soap suds and sink plugs.
We got so cold and wet we had to take a bath to warm up
Then there was lunch followed by a bout of cowboy horse riding, leather furniture climbing and I-spying . . .
The boys are so handsome! It’s wonderful to see recent photos, and I’m glad to be able to keep up with the busy Baker lives via this blog. Hope you all are enjoying the D.C. party atmosphere. It’s been fun to have it here in Hyde Park, but now we’re happy to send the motorcades and barricades to D.C. where they belong. :)
No wonder they were exhausted by the end of the day! How did you do?
What a fun post!
FABULOUS pictorial – well done! (your super cute tots don’t hurt the effort, either)
