A hundred thousand LOVES.
Pinning now!
I love you and I love this so much!!!! *honored* :)
Hi Lisa-Jo, amen and amen to that. Great poem and great way to make it all about the Lord
God bless
Tracy
I adore this! Thank you!
Oh my life, I adore this (and you, as ever!).
LOVE this… and this is why I linked to you here: http://www.unplugyourfamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/no-pretenses-just-perspective.html
That is beautiful. Thank you for the reminder of showing the love of Christ in all that we do.
A tweeting I go! Love. This.
Is it too big to wear around my neck???
love. love. love.
I know, right Stacey? So good. :)
This is so perfect! As a fairly “young” blogger (we started our blog about six months ago), it’s easy to lose sight of things and feel discouraged or competitive when looking at others who are succeeding, especially if it seems like it is coming easier for them then it is for us. I think I need to print this off and tape it up next to my computer!

Thank you for this. New to this space, I look at all the talented, fabulous God-fearing women already online and think “God, why would I step into this space? There is so much being said. There is so much being said well.” This post helped change my perspective. It’s not about us. It’s about Him. And if it takes 10 million voices all saying the same thing for the world to hear the Good News, then let’s get to it.
Totally identify with you, Heather from CT.
Such a good reminder for hearts like ours, that if that whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? We EACH play an important part. And if one part is exalted, the whole body rejoices with it!
Glory to God for His gifts to men (and women)!
Lisa-Jo, thanks for sharing this prayer. Living for my own glory, even in these *secret* places, can be something I muddle around in, too. Real freedom from competition, jealousy, (. . . ok, it’s just plain, ugly PRIDE) comes when I embrace who I am: a creation of God, fashioned to bring Him glory. The ground at the cross is level. All of us occupy this ground, though none rises higher than another. The only one lifted up is our Savior. This is LIFE.
I love it! I love it! I love it! I will read it often, thank s a bunch!
That’s a beautiful prayer!!! Thanks for sharing. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve included a link to your blog meme in a post on my blog today about memes: http://thekoalabearwriter.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-is-blog-meme.html. :)
What a beautiful prayer, on such a pertinent topic!
Thank you for sharing!
What an amazing prayer! Thanks for sharing and I will be posting on my blog. It would be awsome if the prayer went viral and everyone had it on their blogs/facebook/twitter, etc…how amazing would THAT be!
That’s really great. And so “un” self-serving.
Wonderful words so needed for my heart. I heard on Andy Stanley’s leadership podcast that if you fight jealousy one of the only ways to overcome that is to celebrate others and thier successes. That has been one if my goals and this prayer will be prayed regularly to help me to do that very thing. Thanks!
really – wow – an outward focussed New Years blog post – wow! LOVE IT!!! LOVE YOUR HEART!! (and how sad we don’t see more of this……) (just sayin’….)
Amen!!! I love that prayer. Thank you
This prayer is a gift. I just started blogging, and as I look at my stats page regularly I wonder how I can continue to value others above myself while hoping for my own success. Your words are PERFECT timing. Thank you!
I love your heart.
I thank Jesus for your generosity.
And I pray God’s favor on your life ~ and your platform.
much love.
Absolutely beautiful and so perfect, thank you for sharing!!!
Lisa-Jo, I love the spirit of your heart and your prayer!! I added it to my Pinterest board and I also shared it with my readers at Inspire Me Monday at Create With Joy (with a link back and a note for them to visit you here to get a copy of the PDF!)
Thank you for being such an inspiration to us all.
